The VKK was founded on May 2nd, 1925. In 2000 the VKK cojoined de Raad van Beheer (Dutch Kennel Club).

The primary objective of the VKK is to promote the interests of the Kynology in the Netherlands, by which all matters concerning judging assessments are having the utmost and highest priority.

For the greater part the activities consist of: to accompagny, to prepare and to accomplish the judges exams which are applied for through the Breed Clubs by the Raad van Beheer

(Dutch Kennel Club).

If necessary the VKK steps into the breach defending the interests of their judges.
